Blake Little is an award winning Los Angeles photographer. He called this work Preservation.
Little found (although I have no idea how he thought of this) that if you dump copious amounts of honey over someone, it looks like they become a statue, preserved in this fluid movement.
The reason for calling it Preservation is to incorporate the idea of protection, stability, and the juxtaposition of the timeless substance and human flesh (which is prone to decay).
It's absolutely breathtaking to see.
