At first glance these images seem to be photos of ancient stained glass windows or the works of an inspired impressionist painter. But the reality is much more bizzare: these are actually pictures of rice fields in China taken at high-altitude. Through the year, landscape here has changed dramatically; during the summer one can enjoy the bright green of new sprouts, while autumn generously covers the same mountain slopes with gold.
Either way, a bird’s eye view of these landscapes is truly impressive. We would like to share with you photos of a place where incredible nature and hard work merged into a masterpiece.
